Saturday, May 13, 2023, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. When History and Nature Collide. Join the Friends of Santa Teresa Park volunteers for a moderate 2.5-mile hike. View late spring wildflowers, look for wildlife, take in the gorgeous views, and learn about the rich history area. This program offers you and your friends and family the chance to meet Morticia, Santa Clara County Parks' Claifornia kingsnake, and learn why she is so well adapted to the habitats surrounding the Santa Clara Valley and beyond! Join the Friends of Santa Teresa Park for a moderate 2.5-mile hike on the Stile Ranch, Mine, and Fortini Trails. You’ll hear stories about mothers who were important to the area’s history and see colorful late-spring wildflowers. Meet at the Fortini Trailhead on San Vicente Avenue off Fortini Road with sturdy shoes, snacks, and water. Leashed, dogs, children, and families are welcome. Registrations requested.
Saturday, September 21, 2024, 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm. La Fuente, As part of Hispanic Heritage Month, celebrate the families of the past, present, and future at Bernal-Gulnac-Joice Ranch and their relationship to the Santa Teresa Spring. Evening festivities include music, stories, crafts, and games for all ages. This event is also part of Binational Health Week. No registration required, just come by between 4 pm and 7 pm! Questions?
